Outlook

This year’s Bay team had a number of juniors starters come in as first-teamers as sophomores a year ago, and it results in more than 16 returning starters for a darkhorse Bay squad. They have size at the tackle spots and experience in the secondary against teams that can air it out in the GLC West.

Player to watch

Brendan Spellman was a versatile weapon for the Rockets out of the backfield a year ago and will be a heavily relied-upon figure in the offense. He’ll be the head of a veteran skill position corps.

Underclassman to watch: Sophomore Charlie Rodgers (6-0, 210) was put into prominent spots as a freshman and has earned a bigger role in the team’s 2023 plans.

Bottom Line

IF: The underclassmen can fill the voids left by graduation; THEN: Bay will be in a good position to win games with their returning talent.
