Outlook
Coach Sean Ranc is in his fourth year leading the Warriors and is ready to take a step up by making the playoffs. They’ll be returning a sophomore quarterback in Burke Lowry – who started three games down the stretch last year – along with 12 other starters, including five of seven returning defensive starters in the front seven. This will be their last season competing in the GLC West before heading off to play in the Chagrin Valley Conference come 2024.
Player to watch
Senior Quinn Bruder was named a captain this year after playing a starters role between linebacker and fullback in 2022 without initially being named one. Look for him to help set the tone early and lead by example.
Underclassman to watch: Burke Lowry gained valuable experience as a freshman in the final three games as the starting signal caller in 2022. It’ll help elevate an offense returning both starting wideouts and multiple linemen.
Bottom Line
IF: Fairview can take care of the little things during the game, THEN: The Warriors will be able to put together a winning football outfit on the field.
