Outlook
North Olmsted made strides last year in the second year of its new offense, making the playoffs with weapons like Collin Willard and Jared Kelley. While Kelley and quarterback Xavier Balson are gone, Willard headlines a group of 17 returning starters from 2022. This experienced group could push their way to the top of the GLC field and make some noise if they can gel after an 8-4 campaign.
Player to watch
Collin Willard steps into the lead role as the No. 1 option on offense. His blazing speed will allow North Olmsted to be creative in how they utilize him across the formation.
Underclassman to watch: Tommy Horsfall may be a first-year starter at quarterback, but this is the junior’s third season in the Eagles’ offensive system.
Bottom Line
IF: The team continues to cut down on penalties, THEN: A repeat playoff trip will be in the offing.
