A day after losing by six goals, the Monsters gave up six more, falling to host Grand Rapids, 6-2, on Feb. 25.

It was the third defeat in a row for Cleveland (22-23-4-2).

The Monsters led, 2-1, after the first period thanks to power-play goals by Josh Dunne and Trey Fix-Wolansky. It was Dunne’s 16th goal of the season, and Wolansky’s 22. Wolansky has 55 points this season, 23 more than any other player on the team.

The Griffins then scored five unanswered goals to put it away despite being outshot, 34-31, for the game.
