North Ridgeville Heart and Sole health collaborative is inviting the public to keep active this fall and winter by walking indoors at Liberty Elementary School and LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, according to a news release.

Enter the building’s main doors and sign in at the indoor walking table.

• From 5-6:30 p.m., Mondays through March 27, at LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road in North Ridgeville.

• From 5-6:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays through March 30, at Liberty Elementary School, 5700 Jaycox Road in North Ridgeville; no indoor walking at Liberty Elementary on Nov. 10.

There is no cost to participate; all ages and abilities are welcome to attend, according to the release.

If the school or building is closed due to weather, indoor walking also is canceled, the release said.

Staying active can strengthen your immune system and reduce stress and tension, according to the release.

Heart and Sole is a community-based group powered by the United Way of Greater Lorain County and facilitated by Lorain County Public Health.

The collaborative includes partners from local businesses, agencies and organizations working toward one goal of making the healthy choice the easy choice in the area.
