Outlook: The Rangers have played some of their best volleyball in the second half of the season. They come into the district semifinal winning seven of their last eight games. They have a tall presence at the next with the Ginley twins Adalynn (1.5 blocks per set) and Breanna (1.3) and are led by outside hitter Sarah Walton that has 2.4 kills per set. Wadsworth is on a six-game winning streak. Their most recent win was against Avon in a five-set showdown. Grizzlies’ senior Ellie Zuro leads them with 3.9 kills per set. up-and-coming freshman Lauren Decker provides Wadsworth a nice one-two punch for the them along with Rachel Dunkle. The Grizzlies have solid height, but North Ridgeville still holds the advantage. Expect to see the Rangers impose their will at the net to set the tone like they have all year.

Perez’s pick: North Ridgeville
