State Rep. Gayle Manning, R-North Ridgeville, announced Dec. 18 that she has filed petitions and will seek her fourth and final term as state representative in Ohio’s 52nd House District in November, according to a news release.
Manning has represented Lorain County in the Ohio House of Representatives since 2019 and previously served eight years in the Ohio Senate.
With a track record of public service and a commitment to representing her constituents, Manning seeks to continue her work on behalf of the people of Ohio, according to the release.
A veteran educator, Manning served for 37 years as an elementary school teacher where her own love of learning and passion for children earned her numerous awards and recognition, the release said.
Manning has focused on key issues such as education, economic development and health care, according to the release.
Recognized for her bipartisan approach, Manning has worked across party lines to achieve meaningful results for the residents of Lorain County, the release said.
Manning expressed her gratitude for the support she has received during her time in office and looks forward to continuing her service to Ohio’s 52nd District, according to the release.
“Lorain County is one of the best places in Ohio to live, work and raise a family,” she said in the release. “I’m proud that my children and grandchildren live here and have been humbled to be part of the progress our region has made in recent years.
“Ohioans deserve representatives who are committed to working together to address the challenges we face and to build a brighter future for our state. I am dedicated to continuing this important work, and I am excited to once again ask for the trust and support of the people of Lorain County.”
