Generous donors give to Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-Child

To date, The Morning Journal’s Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-Child campaign has collected $36,129.10 thanks to the generosity of our readers and sponsors.

Members and volunteers of the Clothe-A-Child shopped for 260 youngsters — up from 240 in 2022 — between the ages of 4 and 12 at Meijer in Lorain and Sandusky, and JC Penney in Avon.

Thank you to major sponsors Meijer, which donated $5,000 to the program; Northwest Bank, which donated more than $6,500; and the Italian American Veterans Charities, which donated $3,000 to assist with the shopping.
