The Avon-Avon Lake Republican Club meeting at 5 p.m. Dec. 14 will feature Professor Jeffrey Sikkenga, executive director of the Conservative Ashbrook Center at Ashland University.
The center means to restore and strengthen the capacities of the American people for constitutional self-government, according to a news release. Also speaking is John Stover, president of Ohio Value Voters and a radio personality with an uplifting Christian, pro-family message, the release noted.
The club meets the second Thursday of each month at the Father Ragan Knights of Columbus Hall, 1783 Moore Road in Avon. Admission for guests is $5.
