LCCC enrolling for spring semester, special Saturday hours Jan. 6 and 13

Lorain County Community College is enrolling students in spring semester classes that begin on or after Jan. 16, according to a news release.

To help students complete their enrollment, the college will be open special Saturday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 6 and Jan. 13, the release said.

Student services will be available, including same-day appointments with academic advisors, according to the release.

Commodore Books and More also will be open in College Center, 1005 N. Abbe Road in Elyria, the release said.

LCCC delivers affordable programs in nine academic and career pathways that allow students to meet a variety of education and career goals, according to the release.

Classes are delivered in-person, online or through a blended format, the release said.

LCCC offers short-term certificates, associate degrees and applied bachelor’s degrees.

Through the LCCC University Partnership, students can earn bachelor’s or master’s degrees from 14 Ohio colleges and universities at a fraction of the cost.
