BrightView, an addiction treatment center in Elyria, will celebrate its one-year anniversary Sept. 1 with an open house.

The treatment center is celebrating effective outpatient addiction treatment in Elyria and throughout Lorain County, according to a news release.

The open house begins at noon and is scheduled to end at 1:30 p.m. at its 540 Griswold Road location.

In the last year, BrightView has helped 263 area residents work toward recovery through 2,374 hours of medical treatment and approximately 1,503 hours of counseling and therapy, the release stated.

“Patients have an opportunity to transform areas of their lives starting with our center’s case management services to find safe housing, reliable transportation, access to food and if needed preparing for a job,” said Jaremy Crouse, BrightView community outreach manager.

A highlight of the celebration will include presenting Recovery Recognition awards to patients who successfully accomplished sobriety, the release stated.

“They are passionate and dedicated about their recovery goals, which motivates the BrightView team to do everything we can to help them succeed,” Crouse said.

BrightView’s programs include medication assisted treatment, individual counseling, group therapy, peer support and social services to address the full range of challenges associated with substance use disorders, the release stated.

Each program is personalized to meet the goals and needs of the patient, ensuring the best chances of long-term success, according to the release.

Services at BrightView’s Elyria center are easy to access and available to hundreds of area residents, the release stated.

The center accepts walk-ins until 3 p.m. weekdays, offers same day appointments and accepts all forms of insurance, including Medicaid, Medicare and military health insurance.

BrightView was founded in 2015, and provides comprehensive, evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment to thousands of patients in recovery from substance use disorders, the release stated.

The organization consists of more than 85 centers through Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, Arizona and North Carolina.

“BrightView’s compassionate and professional staff create an accessible and welcoming environment for physical and emotional healing,” according to the release. “BrightView is committed to treating each patient with respect, providing positive reinforcement and achieving long-term wellness.”
