* Clippers (41-28): Triple-A Columbus’ game with Rochester Red Wings (32-35) was suspended in the bottom of the fifth with the game tied, 1-1, June 19. They will pick up of the game June 20 and then play the regularly scheduled game after. The second game will be shortened to seven innings. On June 19, Yu Chang (1-for-2) had a home run for the Clippers one run. Bobby Bradley was 1-for-2. Shao-Ching Chiang was on the mound through five for Columbus. He had one hit, one run, no walks and five strikeouts.

* RubberDucks (34-36): Double-A Akron lost Game 1 of a twinbill with the Reading Fightin’ Phils (40-28), 6-4. Akron scored all runs in the fourth. Alex Call scored Connor Marabell (1-for-4) on a sacrifice bunt. After, Nellie Rodriguez (1-for-3) hit a two-run single scoring Wilson Garcia (1-for-1) and Call. Game 2 was suspended with a score of 1-1 in the top of the eighth. The game will resume June 20 at 5:30 p.m.

* Scappers (4-2): Short-season single-A Mahoning Valley won, 7-4, against the West Virginia Black Bears (3-3). Cody Farhat his a triple, Michael Cooper had a team-high three RBI and Luiz Valdez earned the win. He pitched second and threw 2 1/3 innings, gave up one hit, no runs, no walks and struck out four.
