Civil Air Patrol group participate in Training Bivouac in Elyria

Cadets and senior members from Group IV of the Ohio Wing of the Civil Air Patrol will participate in an Emergency Services Training Bivouac on Aug. 1-3. The bivouac is being hosted at the Lorain County Airport by the Lorain County Composite Squadron of CAP starting at 4 p.m. Aug. 1 and continuing through noon Aug. 3. Cadets and senior members will camp out at the county airport and will participate in aerospace education activities and emergency services training that will include a simulated search and rescue exercise (a major focus of CAP) and flight line marshaling (directing of aircraft on the ramp).
