The Lorain Palace Theater, 617 Broadway, presents Andrew Lipian’s recital and a movie, ‘The Red Shoes,’ starting at 6 p.m. July 30. Tickets cost $12 and can be bought at the door. Lipian, program director at the Lorain Palace Theater, is the 2013 Central Region Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition. His recital will include performances by Metropolitan Opera Bass-Baritone Julian Robbins, and by Oberlin graduate, Cheng Zhi. Following the recital, the Lorain Palace Theater will be showing ‘The Red Shoes.’
