Yasel Santana tossed 7 1/3 innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out five, to lead the Crushers to a 5-1 win Aug. 22 over the Y’alls in Florence.
Santana did walk five, but worked around it to improve to 4-6 on the year.
Trevor Kuncl struck out a pair in a scoreless ninth.
Jack Harris went 3-for-4 with a double, run and RBI.
Scout Knotts and Hector Roa also contributed doubles.
The teams continue their series at 6:31 p.m. Aug. 23.
