Scout Knotts went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, three runs and four RBI to lead the visiting Crushers to a 12-5 win over the Y’alls in Florence on Aug. 12.
Zach Racusin doubled, walked and scored a pair of runs for Lake Erie (31-46), and Hector Roa went 2-for-5 with a home run. Josh Rego and John Tuccillo also slugged homers for the Crushers.
Perry Bewley and Darrien Ragins combined for four shutout innings of relief. Bewley struck out five and Ragins fanned a pair.
The teams continue their series at 1:07 p.m. Aug. 13.
