Show Lorain library card, get in Ironmen game for free

Get free admission to the Lorain County Ironmen’s last home game of the season on Aug. 2, at The Pipe Yard, 2840 Meister Road, Lorain, courtesy of Lorain Public Library System. Gates open at 6:05 p.m., one hour before the first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Simply show your LPLS library card and get in for free. It’s fan appreciation night and the Lorain Public Library’s mascot, ‘Browser,’ will be on the scene. Two lucky fans will also win Cedar Point tickets. All fans will receive a free raffle ticket when they come into the ballpark. Those tickets will be entered for a chance to win a pair of one-day passes to one of the world’s best amusement parks. Every purchase at the concession stand gets you another chance to go to America’s Roller Coast. Winners will be picked during the game.
