Elyria police are investigating a shooting late Jan. 8 that left a man suffering non life-threatening injuries.
At 9:44 p.m., Elyria police were called to 1019 Melvin Lane for a report of a man who had been shot, according to Capt. Phillip Hammonds.
The man was transported by LifeCare Ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of his wound, Hammonds said.
“The good thing here is it’s non life-threatening,” Hammonds added. “There’s still a lot of unanswered questions.”
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
